Sweep

I am excited about this new artist’s book I’m developing called “SWEEP.” An edition of ten, the book includes a series of etchings that illustrate a theater performance, with a focus on costuming, from the perspective of a broom working backstage. The nonlinear narrative that unfolds through images alone indulges a heavy dose of fantasy and whimsy while exploring themes of embellishment, protection, spectacle, and labor.
